Biography
Norwegian ceramist who was a teacher at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry from 1943 to 1975, and head teacher from 1976. She began teaching at an early age and was only active as a commercial ceramicist for a short period.
She made useful objects in earthenware with a light pewter glaze, often with decoration scratched into the glaze. In 1951 she made a number of objects in clinker ware.
Von Hanno died on 9 June 2014 in Oslo aged 94.
