Biography
American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Thompson spent one week as number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking before turning professional in July 2008. Thompson earned his first PGA Tour win at the 2013 Honda Classic. The win moved Thompson to a career-high 45th in the OWGR, up from 114th before the tournament. His highest ranking was 43rd, on 10 March 2013.
