Biography
French military surgeon, whose career began on 1 October 1895 at the school of the health service of the armies of Lyon-Bron, as a student of Celestin Sieur. He obtained his doctorate in medicine in Lyon in 1898.
From May 1911 to November 1913, he was Surgeon of the Landing Corps of Western Morocco, appointed in May 1911 as Chief Medical Officer of No. 1 Field Hospital in Casablanca.
During the First World War, he was mobilized in 1914 as surgeon of the 17th Corps, in Champagne, in Nantivet.
He was appointed President of the Academy of Surgery in 1936.
He died on 11 July 1969, aged 93, in Paris.
