Biography

French endocrinologist who wrote the 1953 textbook, Techniques biologiques en endocrinologie expérimentale chez le rat (Biological techniques in experimental endocrinology in rats). He was appointed in 1925 as an interne of the Hôpitaux de Paris and in 1942 as a physician of the same hospital. From 1935, he conducted research at The Laboratory of Comparative Anatomy of the Sorbonne, then at the Laboratory of Comparative Pathology of Tumours at the Institut Pasteur, and finally at the Experimental Endocrinology Laboratory of M. Courrier at the Collège de France. He moved to Argentina in 1946 and died on 26 April 1979, aged 77, in Buenos Aires.
