Biography
Italian film, theatre and TV comedian who has imitated many famous people and created many fictional characters including Mario the lifeguard, Merigo the drunken cyclist and the very talkative and gossipy middle-aged Mrs. Italy.
In 2006 he was chosen as artistic director and presenter of the 56th Sanremo Music Festival, supported by Ilary Blasi and Victoria Cabello.
In September 2008 he released his first book, I'll never leave alone, which tells the story of a man who can change lives and who discovers the true values of life with the help of a small dog.
