Biography
Belgian physician, head of the Hospitals and Hospitals Service of Brussels (Hôpital Saint-Jean, Hospices of Pachéco, Ursulines and Sainte-Gertrude), Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Free University of Brussels and founding member of the Royal Academy of Medicine of which he was vice-president (1872-1874), and president of the Medical Commission of Brabant.
He died in Brussels on 22 September 1886, aged 84.
