Biography
United States Army Lieutenant General who served as commander of I Field Force, Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He received the Distinguished Service Cross, Distinguished Service Medal, Silver Star, Legion of Merit and Bronze Star. Stanley R. Larsen was nicknamed "Swede". He died on 1 November 2000 at age 84 in Talladega, Alabama.
