Biography

Belgian princess, as the daughter of Prince Philippe, Count of Flanders, and Princess Marie of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. She was the older twin to Princess Henriette of Belgium. She died in infancy on 18 January 1871 at 12 noon in Brussels. In 1872 Joséphine Marie's mother gave birth to another daughter, who was named Joséphine in her memory.
