Biography
American swimmer with a versatile talent and an all-around swimming ability. He earned awards in 1969, 1970 and 1972, breaking world records. In August 1970, it was the world record for the 200m. butterfly in the American championships that he shattered. He attained his finest medley form in early August 1972 when he equaled Larsson's 200m. world record, which stood for two years.
