Biography

Australian pedophile who was imprisoned on sixty charges of child sexual abuse in 1996. He received a 16 year prison sentence with a non-parole period of 10 years. On 28 August 2002, Guider was sentenced to 17 years' imprisonment with a non-parole period of 12 years for the manslaughter of Sydney girl, Samantha Knight. She was born Samantha Terese O'Meagher on 25 March 1977 in Sydney and went missing in the same city on 19 August 1986, aged 9. He pleaded guilty to the manslaughter charge and the sentence is to be served cumulatively with his sentence for the child sex offences. Knight's body has never been found.
