Biography
Mexican lawyer and politician, one of the forerunners of the Mexican Revolution, a faithful collaborator of Francisco I. Madero. He became governor of the Federal District on 21 August 1912, but had to resign on 2 February 1913 a few days before the outbreak of Decena Trágica. He was the older brother of the general and president of Mexico, Roque González Garza.
He wrote several works on the history of Mexico. He died in Mexico City in 1951.
