Biography
American highly-decorated Brigadier General in the United States Air Force, who served with the Ninth Air Force during World War II. Awards he received include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, the Croix de guerre of France, and the Luxembourg War Cross. Ehrgott was also a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Later he would work in atomic energy. His retirement was effective as of 1 July 1966. Ehrgott died on 20 September 1982 at age 77.
