Biography
Norwegian actor, dramaturge, text writer, and theatre manager who made his stage debut at Trøndelag Teater in 1971, and was then hired at Teatret Vårt in 1973 and Rogaland Teater in 1975. He was the director of Rogaland Teater from 1991 to 1994 and Den Nationale Scene from 1995 to 1996.
In addition to writing plays, Egge wrote revue texts for Dizzie Tunes, Øivind Blunck and Hege Schøyen, as well as directing Løgnaslaget's revues in Stavanger where he lived. He was the host of the TV 2 program "Tre kokker" ('Three chefs') (1992).
Egge died on 26 March 1997 aged 47.
