Biography
Italian songwriter, conductor, pianist and director of a popular TV orchestra. In the '50s he founded a jazz quartet and had a long-standing collaboration with the singer, Milla, with whom he arranged the song, "Heaven in a Room." De Vita is noted for writing over 500 songs.
He died of cancer on 14 January 1998.
