Biography
French actress whose film career began at age 14 in 1920 and continued through the early 1950s.
Darfeuil made her screen debut at age 14 in the 1920 Pierre Colombier-directed silent film Les Étrennes à travers les âges and would work steadily through the silent era and into the sound era.
She died at 6 a.m. on 15 October 1998, aged 92, in Montfort-l'Amaury, Yvelines, France.

On 18 Feb 2017 the time of 8pm was added, as quoted from birth certificate in Michaël Mandl's CINÉMA MUET collection: "L’administration connaît parfois ses ratés, mais il faut aussi insister : s’agissant d’Emma Floquet, née le 07 février 1906 à Paris XV, le service d’état civil concerné me répond en date du 09 décembre 2016 que « les recherches effectuées … se sont révélées infructueuses » ; c’est une autre personne du même service qui réagit trois jours après, le 12 décembre 2016, en me priant « de bien vouloir trouver, ci-joint, le document demandé »" (The administration sometimes knows its failings, but it is also necessary to insist: in the case of Emma Floquet, born on 7 February 1906 in Paris XV, the civil status department concerned replied to me on 9 December 2016 that "have been unsuccessful"; it was another person in the same department who responded three days later, on 12 December 2016, asking me "to kindly find attached the document requested").
