Biography

American police officer and actor best known for his role as Chin Ho Kelly, a police detective on the CBS television network series Hawaii Five-O from 1968 to 1978.

Kam Fong Chun married and was widowed and then married again, He had six children. He died from lung cancer on 18 October 2002 at the age of 84 in Honolulu.

His son Dennis Chun had a recurring role in the 2010 reboot of Hawaii Five-O as HPD Sgt. Duke Lukela. Beginning with the 8th season he was promoted to a series regular.
