Biography

Brazilian cartoonist, caricaturist and musician; the younger-by-five-minutes twin brother of fellow cartoonist Paulo Caruso (1949-2023), father of comedian Fernando Caruso and uncle of filmmaker Paulinho Caruso.

He began to publish his drawings at the end of the 1960s, in Folha da Tarde. He worked for the periodicals Opinião, Movimento, Gazeta Mercantil, ISTOÉ, Veja and Jornal do Brasil. He has worked for O Globo since 1984.
