Biography
Norwegian painter and visual artist whose output consists of both graphics (woodcuts) and paintings. Houses have always been a central motif for her, right from her painting debut at the Autumn Exhibition in 1978. She has gradually moved to a more formal picture construction where she primarily cultivates the surfaces in the picture.
She was a festival exhibitor at Bergen Art Gallery in 2011. Her works are in key private and public collections in Norway and abroad, such as the National Museum, Lillehammer Art Museum, and the British Museum. She has carried out several decorations (art projects), for instance a glass mosaic in a pool in the central hall of Tønsberg Hospital (2005).
