Biography
Norwegian biathlete and coach, often referred to by the nickname the "King of Biathlon." With 13 Winter Olympic Games medals, he is second on the list of multiple medallists behind Marit Bjørgen who has won 15 medals.
He competed with Raphaël Poirée, and then Martin Fourcade, as opponents. Aged 42, he had 42 world and olympic medals! He won finally the bronze (43) in the mass start before retiring in 2016.
