Biography
Brazilian soccer player, a defensive midfielder who played for several Campeonato Brasileiro Série A clubs. Biro-Biro started his senior career in 1977 playing for Sport, where he won that season's Campeonato Pernambucano. He played for Corinthians (1978–1988) and is considered one of the greatest idols in the club's history. He retired in 1995 while playing for Nacional-SP.
Biro-Biro started his managerial career in 1998, as Mauaense's head coach, followed by stints at Barra do Garças (2001), Francana (2002) and Guarujá (2006).
