Biography
Norwegian track and field athlete who in the 1960s set 33 Norwegian records in sprint and long jump, won four Norwegian championships, and two gold medals at European Championships. In 1968 she was the country's first female flag bearer in an Olympic parade. In the 1980s, she was head of the Norwegian female track and field athletes.
Berthelsen died on 13 February 2022 in Bærum aged 77.
