Biography

American-British musician from a noted family, the only child of actress and singer Mackenzie Phillips and rock guitarist Shane Fontayne (born Michael Barakan on 29 April 1954 in London, England). His parents were married from 1986 until their divorce in 2000. A singer and songwriter, Shane Barakan features on James John's 2014 EP Heaven's Right Here with You.
