THE MONTH OF MARCH - EMERGING FROM CHAOS

After the challenging quality of time in February, the first shoots of spring are already appearing in March. Something new is seeing the light of day. A lunar eclipse at the beginning of the month, as well as conjunctions of Venus and the Sun with Neptune and Saturn, point to a demanding quality of time that nevertheless offers many promising opportunities. To make the most of them, you will need awareness and a willingness to act decisively.

THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME

Mars in Aquarius starts the month in a waning square to Uranus in Taurus. On 2 March it enters Pisces. The following day brings a Full Moon in Virgo, accompanied by a lunar eclipse. Lilith in Sagittarius forms a tense aspect to the Moon's Nodes.

The quality of time these days has a restless, nervous undertone. Some things seem mysterious and confusing, and at times it feels as if disorder can hardly be contained. In such moments it is essential to proceed prudently. Take enough time to manage your daily life and to weigh important decisions carefully. You need a lot of inner clarity to truly see what is going on beneath the surface.

On 5 March the Sun in Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer, and conjoins retrograde Mercury on the 7th. On 6 March Venus enters Aries, encountering the still active conjunction of Neptune and Saturn on the 7th and 8th. On 9 March Mercury reaches the trine to Jupiter. Two days later Jupiter ends its retrograde phase.

Serenity and self-confidence are good prerequisites for engaging successfully with this complex, multifaceted quality of time. The harmonious aspects between the Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter support profound exchanges, especially with people you feel connected to. It is also an excellent time for inner retreat, meditation, or therapeutic work on deep emotional themes.

The conjunction of Venus, Neptune, and Saturn, on the other hand, is more difficult to handle. It is about uniting ideal, appearance, and reality - a noble and lofty aim that is not easy to achieve. Where it succeeds, you may catch a first glimpse of the new that is now rising from humanity’s collective unconscious. Try to look behind appearances before you judge.

Used creatively, this period can bring extraordinary results, especially where people are actively reshaping their life circumstances. You need the resolve not to be discouraged by resistance but to surrender to this "birth process" without compromise. The impulses you set in your life now will bear fruit over the coming weeks.

Some may also find themselves in a gloomy mood now, which often has its roots in old feelings of rejection and devaluation. Try to provide a realistic framework for your expectations and hopes. Realign your ideals with reality now.

On 15 March Mercury meets Mars in Pisces, right at the ascending lunar node. Words and thoughts have great power now, including those spoken inwardly, such as prayers, affirmations, or mantras. This day invites you to connect with the higher realms of life. It is a good time for meditation, for honest exchange with others, and for anything that touches the soul. Yet beware of arguments about spiritual or religious topics.

Venus in Aries squares Jupiter in Cancer on 18 March. On the 19th there is a New Moon in Pisces. This is a good time to take stock of recent events. Give yourself a break to look at your place in life and honor your experiences. Find words for what is now seeking shape within you. This will enable you to take the next necessary steps with the greatest possible clarity.

The new astrological year begins with the Sun’s entry into Aries at the equinox on 20 March. At the same time Mercury turns direct. On 22 March the Sun meets Neptune, and Mars trines Jupiter. Three days later, on 25 March, the Sun reaches Saturn in Aries.

The growth impulse triggered by the Sun’s entry into Aries carries a certain urgency this year. The Sun moves through the degree range of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction from February and then conjoins both immediately afterward.

The social themes of this rare configuration, which speaks of dissolving outdated structures and of a new beginning, can now be perceived more clearly, as can the consequences of this development. It is quite possible that decisions now have to be made, courses reset, and concrete steps taken, even if the further outcome is more than uncertain. The water trine between Mars in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer speaks of the power of faith and of standing up for a world in which life is protected and allowed to unfold. Yet it takes persistence and patience to move things forward. On the world stage a few masterstrokes could be made in these days, shaping the future for a long time.

At the end of the month, relationship themes become more prominent. On 26 March Venus meets Chiron in Aries. This is a good time to engage with the less pleasant experiences in your relationships, whether alone or together. Delicate questions about money and values can also come up now. Clarifying such matters is worthwhile, because on 30 March Venus enters Taurus. The focus then shifts to vibrant sensuality and a healthy relationship with material values.

The quality of time invites you to turn toward your own reality with courage and resolve. The current spirit of new beginnings supports both inner and outer growth.
