THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME
With a strong emphasis on Aries, there will hardly be a dull moment in May, even if the quality of time is not quite as intense as it was in April. This month, Venus, Mars and Jupiter enter the realm of spontaneous and energetic Aries. The associated mood of optimism must be actively balanced, especially during the energetically charged lunar eclipse in the middle of the month. If the tension is misjudged, the impulsive Aries vigor could lead to risky actions, with potentially serious consequences for others as well.
Venus boldly leads the way, entering the sign of Aries on May 2. New adventures are tempting and welcome after a period of social distance, and a little flirtation could easily turn into more. However, the fire can go out as quickly as it flared up. On May 5, the Sun reaches its conjunction with Uranus in Taurus. Some things that were considered certain could now show up in a very different guise. With the Moon conjunct Lilith in Cancer and square Venus in Aries, gender issues could come back into focus. Public attention is now turning to strong, independent women. However, an impatient mood is increasingly noticeable, which could ruin many good efforts. On May 10, Mercury turns retrograde in Gemini, until June 3. Important contracts should be examined especially carefully during this time, and negotiations could turn out to be more complicated than expected.
On May 11, Jupiter enters Aries. It will stay there until October 28, before returning to Pisces for a few more weeks. The quality of time will be noticeably affected by this. Drive, courage and pioneering spirit are the themes of the time, but also unpredictability, hubris and misunderstood heroism. However, real heroes are definitely needed, especially during the time of the Full Moon in Scorpio on May 15/16, which is coupled with a lunar eclipse. The Sun, Moon and lunar nodes are square Saturn, Venus is conjunct Chiron, and Mars is almost conjunct Neptune. The quality of time could take on a somber note during these days. Hopes, visions and expectations must now be adjusted to the given circumstances. The conjunction of Mars and Neptune in Pisces on May 18 indicates serious vulnerabilities. For example, major events related to water could occur. Don't be infected by underlying hopelessness at this time. The mood will already lighten a few days later when Mars reaches Aries.
On May 21, the Sun enters Gemini and immediately makes a conjunction with Mercury, which slips backward into Taurus two days later. Although there can be arguments, at least people are talking to each other again. This is imperative, as Mars also moves into Aries on May 25. The weakness of the middle of the month is almost forgotten, and with new courage, ground can now be made up. However, the strong Aries energy can also cause a conflict to escalate further. With Venus square Pluto, desire and longing are usually strong. When Venus enters sensual and earthy Taurus on May 28, this is unlikely to change. However, Mars and Venus are now both in their domicile and thus in equal power. Sensuality could be one of the ways to somewhat appease the belligerent side of Mars. The latter is exactly conjunct Jupiter on the 29th and wants to finally show what heroic action means. The Gemini New Moon of May 30, with Mercury square Saturn and trine Pluto, suggests that this heroism may well provide talking points for some time to come.
THE PERSONAL QUALITY OF TIME
Jupiter will bring a welcome growth spurt to the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn over the next few months. However, detailed statements about the personal quality of time can only be made by taking into account the personal horoscope.
