Biography

German physician and chemist, a member of the Nazi Party from 1933, outspoken in his anti-Semitism, he tried to establish a "German (Aryan) Chemistry" and co-authored a study on Goethe's plant morphology with botanist Wilhelm Troll. He died on 3 February 1969.
