Dutch etcher, scenic painter, painter and draftsman.
He was the son of the painter Jan Hendrik Weissenbruch and Suzanna Petronella Geertruida Schouw, who later married.
He started as a set painter in Den Haag, being a student of J. Stortenbeker. Later he followed The Art Academy of Den Haag, where his father was his teacher.
He lived and studied in Den Haag, 't Gooi, De Kaag, Noorden, Nieuwkoop, Bussum and Naarden.
In 1939 he settled in Bloemendaal, where he died on 17 October 1941 (needs confirmation).
