Sy Scholfield quotes from "Victorian Duke: The Life of Hugh Lupus Grosvenor First Duke of Westminster" by Gervas Huxley (Oxford University Press, 1967), p. 67: "The Duke of Sutherland sent his sister Lady Westminster an account of the hurried arrival of the Grosvenor heir: 'Another Grosvenor (boy) born about 9 o'clock this morning!' . . . The Queen . . . expressed her wish to be the child's godmother. In her journal she wrote of the christening three months later. . . '3. August, Buckingham Palace, very hot. At 12 Constance Grosvenor's baby was christened in our chapel by Lord Hugh Wriothesly Russell, receiving the names Victor Alexander.'"
