Gustave (1843) Verriest (Standing at left, with family members in 1861)


Belgian professor of medicine at the Catholic University of Louvain, whose research focused on finding a connection between the human voice, breathing and the rhythm of poets.

He died in Saint-Cloud on 25 June 1918.
