English mountaineer, author and motivational and leadership speaker, known as "Mr Frostbite." He wrote the books Once Bitten (2008) and Seven Peaks – Seven Islands (2011). He was resuced from a climb of Mt. McKinley in Alaska in May 1999, suffering severe frostbite with his injuries led to the amputation of his toes, fingers and nose. Months of recovery followed his accident, but he has returned to climbing and explored mountains across the world.
