Biography

Mexican freelance journalist and book author specializing in immigration, politics and US-Mexico relations. She emigrated to the United States in 2004, and is based in Los Angeles, California where she has been a reporter for La Opinin newspaper and is a contributor to the Huffington Post Voices. Her books include Dreamers: An Immigrant Generation's Fight for Their American Dream (2015) and How Does It Feel to Be Unwanted?: Stories of Resistance and Resilience from Mexicans Living in the United States (2018).
