French physician who served as a microbiologist at the colonial health service in Reunion, then in Madagascar, and in Senegal. He was Director of the school of application of the health service of the colonial troops in Marseille (1920-1926), then director of the health service of Madagascar. He was a Corresponding member of the Academy of Medicine.

He died in Poitiers on 6 May 1960, aged 90.
