French physician, who specialised in Ophthalmology. He obtained his medical degree in 1898 at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris. He became attached to the ophthalmic service of hospitals in 1904, and he was promoted to head of service in 1906 (at the Hôpital des Enfants-Malades). In 1910 he became Associate Professor and he was offered the chair of ophthalmology in 1925.
He was a member of the Ophthalmology Society of Paris, the French Society of Ophthalmology and the Medical Hospital Society.
He died in Paris on 17 February 1940.
