Biography

French poet and writer whose work includes poems (collected in 1989 in a "Personal Anthology"), novels, travel stories and essays. He also realised translations of works by Thomas Hardy, D. H. Lawrence, Henry Miller, and Lawrence Durrell.

He was a son of former Minister Emmanuel Temple, and he worked with Cendrars. He died in Aujargues on 5 August 2020 at age 98.
