Biography
American pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) who has played for the Houston Astros since 27 June 2019. Sneed played college baseball at Dallas Baptist University before he was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. The Brewers traded Sneed to the Astros during the 2015–2016 offseason.
Sneed is the third member of his family to be selected in the MLB draft; his father played college baseball but did not sign with a professional team, and his older brother Zeb was drafted and played professionally.

Sy Scholfield provided birth report, Elko Daily Free Press (Elko, Nevada), 5 October 1992, page 9, stating he was born on 2 October at Elko General Hospital. Other references such as Wikipedia and baseball websites give 1 October, same from his wife in many birthday Tweets [1] [2] [3], therefore the date given in his birth notice is apparently a misprint.
