American former methamphetamine addict whose story was told in his father David Sheff’s book, Beautiful Boy, which reached #1 on the New York Times Best Seller List. The book was published by Houghton Mifflin on 26 April 2008. The book grew out of the article "My Addicted Son" that David Sheff had written for The New York Times Magazine in 2005. Nic Sheff's perspective was told in his own memoir Tweak, published concurrently by an imprint of Simon & Schuster.
