Biography
Italian ophthalmologist and scholar of the History of Medicine. He taught ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Naples, publishing over one hundred scientific studies, and in 1947 received a medal from the Italian Ophthalmology Society. He wrote a 1935 biography of the thirteenth-century ophthalmologist Benvenutus Grassus. Scalinci died in 1959.
