Political Navarre (Spain) Carlist ideology of fundamentalist Catholic.
In 1931 he was president of the fundamentalist party and the diocesan Catholic Action. He was one of the creators of the Catholic fuerista Coalition and supported whoever was José Antonio Aguirre of the Basque Nationalist Party in their schedules, which was hotly contested.
He was also one of the founders of the Association of Owners and landlords of Navarra on 3 December 1931, and was president.
In August 1932 he was linked to the attempted coup by General José Sanjurjo against the Republic, so he was arrested by police and released.
