Biography

Peruvian physician and politician, he was Minister of Health from 12-15 November 2020 during the government of President Manuel Merino, and also in the government of President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski from 9 January to 2 April 2018.

A specialist in pediatrics, he was the founder of the Pediatric Intensive Care Service and executive director of the María Auxiliadora Hospital, where he worked for twenty years.
