Biography
Irish newsmaker, awarded the biggest payout in the history of Ireland for brain damage sustained at birth due to hospital negligence. He was awarded €13.5 million in a personal injury settlement by the High Court on 18 December 2014 at eight years of age. Due to his injuries he has brain damage and will never be able to walk or have the use of his arms but he is able to communicate through the use of eye movements using a specialist computer. He will have to use a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
