Italian pop singer, known for the song "Ti voglio tanto bene" (I love you so much).

He turned his hand to acting, appearing in the film "Brother Sun, Sister Moon," directed by Franco Zeffirelli.

During a stay abroad, in New York City, on 3 December 1976, Rossano was found hanged in a hotel room, aged only 30. The press of the time talked about suicide, while others argued it was a murder, but the circumstances have never been officially clarified.
