Biography
Belgian physician and surgeon, a specialist in physiology and clinical medicine, who wrote 67 published works. He was Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Liège, appointed president of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium in 1958. He was a Member of the Academy of Medicine of France, elected foreign correspondent for the medical division on 8 July 1952 and elected associé étranger (foreign partner) on 12 March 1963. He died on 14 May 1977, aged 86.
