Biography
German general and Nazi war criminal during the Second World War, who commanded the Army Group Rear Area behind Army Group South. Following the war, Roques was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment in the High Command Trial. He died on 24 December 1949, aged 69, while serving his sentence in Nürnberg.
