Biography

Peruvian rock musician, composer and DJ, founding member of the many Peruvian rock bands like The Doltons, Los Shain's, The (St. Thomas) Pepper Smelter and Gerardo Manuel and El Humo. He has been conductor Disco Club, one of the first programs dedicated to disseminating video clips and dissemination of rock in Peru.

In 1978 through the state channel (Channel 7 in Lima) Peru launched the first TV program dedicated to the dissemination of music videos called Disco Club. This was due to the great success of his two predecessors program "Hello legs" (emitting filmclips) and "FM 7" (musical weekly). In Disco Club which was broadcast every day there was broadcasting music video from rock to fusion and folk music, was the first program of Video worldwide and that began three years before the appearance of MTV international chain that aired until 1985.

In 2010 he suffered a stroke that nearly cost him his life, though he recovered, was diagnosed with Parkinson's contracture. That same year, recovered his health issues daily program: Disco Club through National Radio of Peru. In March 2011 officially launched Internet Radio Disco Club www.discoclubradio.com rocker fans quickly identified Disco Club Radio as "Resistance" alluding to a tight defense of good music genre and proposes his fight with the disease that afflicts.
