Jay Roberts (Ottawa Rough Riders)

Biography

Canadian football tight end who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Ottawa Rough Riders (1964-1970). He won the Grey Cup in 1968 and 1969. He previously played college football at the University of Kansas.

He had three children including his son, Jed Roberts, who also played in the CFL, for the Edmonton Eskimos. He died on 6 October 2010, aged 67, in Ottawa, Ontario.
