Biography

Italian physician and professor of medical pathology remembered for his neurohydric research method. After studying mathematics, he graduated in medicine in Bologna (1868), and was appointed to the chair of medical pathology in Perugia (1876), in Pavia (1886) and to the management of the medical clinic of Parma (1888). He died in Pavia on 20 May 1916, aged 72.
