Biography
German hygienist and microbiologist who carried out research in the fields of disease control, microbiology and geomedicine and wrote several publications on this topic. He was appointed royal professor due to his merit in combating the typhoid epidemic that raged in Munich in the summer of 1913.
He died on 9 August 1963 in Munich, aged 86.
