Biography
Indian-born terrorism victim, she died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. A financial analyst, she was at work on that fateful day. After the plane hit the tower in which she worked, she was able to call her father, but she was not able to make a successful exit from the floor of building on which she worked (high 90s), and she perished in the ensuing mayhem.
She had taken this job at the World Trade Center barely six weeks prior to the attacks, on August 1, 2001.
