Biography

German stage and screen actress who appeared in 13 films from 1920 to 1972. She was also credited as Anna-Elisabeth Götz (through her 1920-1932 marriage to Lutz Götz), and was later married to Paul Joachim Reppel, in 1936.

From 1955 to 1961 Reppel was a member of the Berlin Ensemble. She appeared in the Caucasian Chalk Circle by Bertolt Brecht and in 1955 in the world premiere of Peter Palitzsch's version of Der Tag des großen Gelehrten Wu.

She died on 5 July 1967 in Mühlhausen, aged 67.
