Biography
Australian unusual birth, he was born with a tumor on his spine that weighed more than he did. The football-sized tumor was on his spine. Born 10 weeks early by Caesarian section, he survived surgery which successfully removed the growth. The parents were informed of the abnomaly at 16 weeks into the pregnancy. They made a conscious choice to continue the pregnancy. The tumor weighed 2.3 kilograms (about 5 pounds) of the birth weight (4.3 kg or about 9.5 pounds).
