Biography
German physiological chemist and professor of pathology who worked on autolysis of the liver and absorption of amino acids in the intestinal tract. He was the son of famous Bonn orientalist Heinrich Eugen Prym (1843-1913) and the nephew of mathematician Friedrich Prym (1841–1915). He became a doctor of medicine in Berlin in 1898. He died in 1964.
